The bridge between you and Japan
かけはし — Kakehashi, the bridge

My name is James Loder. For many years I have been passionate about Japanese culture — its architecture, its craft, its quiet attention to detail.
I spent my career on construction sites as a crane operator in France, Belgium, Monaco and Switzerland, and worked on many renovation projects. I know how a building is made — and what to look for when it isn't.
I bought my own house in Kōfu, Yamanashi Prefecture, completely remotely from Switzerland. Everything I learned along the way, I now put at your service.
Maison Kakehashi is that bridge: between you and Japan, between your project and its reality.
